We have some exciting news to share. Lisa is writing for Fstoppers having recently been invited to join the staff team. Fstoppers is one of the photography industry’s best-known websites for professional photographers around the world.
If you’re not a photographer, there’s every chance you’ve never heard of Fstoppers – and that’s completely fine. It’s a website read by working photographers around the world, covering photography, creativity, business and the ever-changing industry we work in.
Being invited to contribute as a staff writer is a real honour and a lovely recognition of the experience we’ve built over the years photographing weddings.
More importantly, though, it reflects something that’s always been true about how we work.
We don’t just photograph weddings. We’re endlessly interested in photography itself – how people connect with images, how stories are told, and how great photographs can help people remember not just what happened, but how it felt.
Writing for Fstoppers gives Lisa the opportunity to share ideas and experiences with photographers around the world while continuing to do what we love most: photographing brilliant weddings for brilliant people.

Don’t worry – we’re not disappearing into the world of journalism. We’ll still be spending our weekends photographing weddings, hunting for good light, documenting questionable dance moves and generally having a great time with our couples.

Lisa & Neil
Lisa is a wedding photographer based in Norfolk, UK, with over 400 weddings photographed. Her work focuses on honest, documentary-style moments and helping couples feel completely at ease in front of the camera.
She has five cats, dislikes anything pretentious, and is known for making her couples laugh as much as she photographs them. Lisa loves writing but struggles with the ‘third person’.
