Sophie and Charlie’s Hockwold Hall wedding in Norfolk was everything you’d want from a fun, relaxed day – so we’ve told the story entirely in GIFs.

Hockwold Hall is just up the road from us here in Norfolk, and it recently won Muddy Stiletto’s Best Norfolk Wedding Venue – which is pretty cool, especially since the same folks named us Best Norfolk Wedding Photographer. Not a bad combo, really.

But awards aside, a Hockwold Hall wedding is about one thing for us: fun. It’s a stunning, historic venue (yes, all that good stuff), but more importantly, it’s a place where people properly let loose and have an incredible time. It makes fun weddings.

To prove it, here’s the wedding of Sophie and Charlie.

We first met this brilliant pair at their friends Annie and Jack’s wedding back in 2022. We all had such a great day together that when they got in touch about their own Hockwold Hall wedding, we were genuinely chuffed. They’re both comedy gold, so we knew from the start their wedding would be something special.

And it didn’t disappoint.

‘Lisa and Neil — what a dream team! You honestly can’t get better than these two. Neil is hilarious, creative, and the kind of guy who keeps everyone in check, while Lisa is the fun, bubbly, imaginative queen every couple needs! We’re beyond thankful for everything they did for us on our wedding day. We were lucky enough to have an engagement shoot with them beforehand, and they had us laughing until our bellies hurt. We left that shoot feeling amazing and so excited to see what they’d captured. Our photos were ready just over a week later and they were perfect, everything we could have ever dreamed of. They blended in so naturally, it honestly felt like they were part of the family.
