Roll back to 1st January 2021. Lisa woke up on New years day at her Grandparents house, who were in need of additional care. Neil woke up alone with the cats in Norfolk. Three days later we all entered our third national lockdown. All of us separated by distance, masks, rules and Perspex screens. The “new normal” was discussed and the “new normal” sounded (quite frankly) shit. Facing so much uncertainty and doom and we faced it all with you good folks. We guided and supported you when we could, and you guided and supported us when you could. We’ll be forever grateful.
The new normal was uncertain but it was epic. With hesitancy and gratitude, we all danced weirder, laughed more, hugged harder and sang louder.
2021 was a year like no other and we’d like to lift our imaginary hats to complement the tenacity of our couples and their optimism. Some of you down-scaled your weddings, keeping things intimate and a lot of you went hard (instead of going home, obviously). We were so proud to be there and so glad we could document it all.
