We’re often asked what our favourite venue is. While we don’t have a specific favourite, we do have a soft spot for weddings that start in a church and then move to a marquee reception. There’s something about this setup that seems to put guests at ease. Maybe it’s leaving the formalities behind at the church, or maybe it’s just that marquees invite everyone to kick off their shoes and dance.
Speaking of a relaxed and joyful atmosphere, Yas and Jed’s recent wedding was the perfect example. This lovely couple chose St. Mary’s Church for their ceremony, a place steeped in history and significance for both of them. The transition to the marquee reception on Yas’s family estate wasn’t just a shift in location; it felt like moving from one chapter of their lives to another, surrounded by history and lots of open skies.
Yas and Jed are all about making everyone feel included and loved, and their wedding was no different. From personalised touches at the church to a laid-back, almost festival-like celebration under the marquee, they made sure their big day was a reflection of their personalities; warm, inviting, and a ton of fun.
