Antonia and Josh had a lovely, relaxed tipi wedding in Suffolk. They’re childhood sweethearts who met at County Upper in Suffolk and have been together ever since. They love motorbiking, chickens and horses and we love that they incorporated all of these things into their wedding day. Keep scrolling for some major photo inspiration and words from the couple themselves.
Josh is self-employed as a tree surgeon & also offers Equestrian services, builds & maintains Arenas, lunge rings, and gallops. I’m a Transport Assistant for a steel stockist near Newmarket.
Seeing my Dad in the morning for the dress reveal, he cried, I cried, everyone cried! Also, the speeches got us, especially when Josh’s brother George did a speech for their Dad who sadly passed away last year, that really did make everyone cry.
We had an outside ceremony at Josh’s Mum’s land, down by the pond. Luckily the weather held out for all day, we chose to do our own vows & as we had a registry wedding earlier in the year it meant we could have one of our family members Patsy do a blessing ceremony, it made it so much more personal and special for us.
A couple of the first things we booked we’re our Tipi’s from Events Under Canvas & yourselves as our photographers and honestly that was probably the easiest decision we made. We both wanted a really relaxed day, we wanted our friends and family to have fun and drink a lot. it turned out just how we had hoped for.
Josh proposed to me in Albania while we were away on our motorbike trip around Europe. It was at this beautiful secluded farm not far from the Greek border.
My Dad told everyone how when I was younger I thought the Sugar Beet Factory was in fact the cloud machine! Watching multiple people take tequila shots, thinking it would be a good idea.
Our favourite has to be the ones of us standing under the Oak tree at night, where you can see the stars. We also love the pictures with our chickens!!!!
