This wedding is… checks watch… 2 years overdue on the blog. But hey, better late than never, right? Lucy and Aidan’s Mid Suffolk Light Railway wedding had it all. Emotional moments, plenty of laughs, and the kind of vibe that makes you smile just thinking about it. Oh, and it just so happened to be the hottest day of the year.

The heat gave us some of our favourite moments of the day, like hanging out with Lucy and Aidan in our car, blasting the air con and sharing a laugh to cool off. It was also when we learned something we will never forget. Scots really do not wear underwear with their kilts. There were a few moments where we had to give Aidan the nod to cover up. Hilarious, but true.

This wedding also gave us one of our proudest moments behind the camera. We captured a candid photo so good it was awarded Bridebook’s Best Wedding Candid Photo of the Year 2022. Not bad for a day full of laughs, heatwaves, and a little kilt mischief.
