 Norfolk Wedding Photographers

Intuitive

We just get people. We can read a room in two seconds. Who’s nervous, who needs space, who’s about to cry, who’s about to kick off the dance floor. We know when a moment is coming before it happens, and we’re already in the right spot for it. It’s not magic. It’s just how our brains work.

Funny

The kind of funny that makes people relax, not the kind that makes people cringe. Neil gets people chatting like he’s known them forever. Lisa accidentally makes everyone laugh without even trying. Together, we turn “oh god, photos” into “oh my god, this is actually fun.”

Creative

We see things differently, and totally differently from each other. One of us spots the big cinematic stuff. The other zooms in on tiny blink-and-you’ll-miss-it things. Between the two of us, the story gets told properly. The chaos, the beauty, the weird bits, the emotional bits. All of it.

Human

No ego. No photographer voice. No pretending to be cool. Just us. Helping where needed, disappearing when it matters, and being genuinely decent humans with cameras. People feel comfortable around us because we’re actually comfortable being ourselves.

We’re Lisa & Neil, a husband and wife wedding photography team based in Norfolk, photographing weddings across the county and beyond. We turn up to weddings exactly the way we turn up to life… slightly chaotic, very prepared, emotionally invested, and already fondly attached to your nan.

We don’t arrive pretending to be cool or mysterious. We arrive as two normal humans who genuinely love people and genuinely love a good party. We slide into your day like extra guests who happen to have cameras, and before long we’ve met your mum, befriended your best man and sorted the confetti because we know it won’t magically organise itself.

We photograph everything that actually happens. The delicate stuff, the unhinged stuff, the accidental comedy, the tears that appear out of nowhere and the weird dance floor creatures. If it’s real, we’re on it.

We’re not afraid to get involved either.

Need someone to hype the room? Done
Need someone to calm the room? Also done
Need someone to gently remove Uncle Paul from hovering during portraits? Already on it

We dip in and out when we're needed and vanish when we're not.

After 400 weddings together, we know what keeps a day flowing and what makes couples genuinely happy with their photos. You get the shots you want without feeling like you’re missing your own wedding.

We’re just two decent humans who care a lot, work hard, and love creating photos that feel like actual memories, not performances.

This is the stuff you can’t see in the photos.

Hello, we’re Lisa & Neil *awkward handshake/hug thing*. We bloody love a wedding and fun, down-to-earth couples looking for an alternative.

We both photograph the day exactly as it unfolds (yes two of us), the romance, tears, air guitars, crazy faces and everything in between. We do documentary but we don’t do shy. We’re not afraid to step up and give direction when needed. Whether it’s hyping your guests up for confetti, your Bridesmaids to be silly or encouraging Auntie June to do her rhino impression.

We’ll help you plan your wedding, making sure you pack in maximum fun. With over 350 weddings as a duo, we’re wedding experts; we know what makes an amazing wedding and what makes couples happy with their photos. We’ll work with you to make sure you get all the photos you want and need whilst enjoying the wedding day you imagined.

The one that’ll turn chaos into calm.

Neil would describe me as a “Friend first. Boss second. Probably an entertainer third.” Haha, that’s a Ricky Gervais quote. Always start with a joke, right? 😉 How would our couples describe me? The thing I hear most is “calming influence.” It’s often said after I’ve fixed the veil, made sure everyone’s made it to the church on time or kept the mother of the bride from having a meltdown. I’m a secret introvert and brilliant at reading people. I didn’t realise it when I started, but it’s one of the reasons why this is my perfect job.

If Shrek and Gregg Davies had a love child.

Not my description of myself, but it'll do well enough. Certainly I’m too big and giggly to be called a photo Ninja. I’ll have a positive influence on the day though. You’ll notice this when you feel thankful I recommended you bought extra crisps for the reception and your confetti is nothing short of spectacular. You’ll feel it when you get your photos back and laugh at the one of your Aunt wearing a chicken hat. I make people feel relaxed and love them to be their unfiltered selves. I’ll start the round of applause if everyone’s being awkward after speeches and will count you down to cake cut. Oh, and at some point you’ll hear me laughing from the other side of the venue. Lots.
